With the BCS rankings still awaiting release later this afternoon, the SCS.com staff has settled on its top two teams heading into the 2008 bowl season. Florida, fresh off a SEC Championship Game win over previous number one Alabama, is the unanimous choice atop the poll. Texas, meanwhile, slides in just one spot ahead third-ranked Oklahoma, while the Crimson Tide comes in at number four. The next ten spots in the poll are exactly the same as a week ago: Southern Cal, Utah, Penn State, Texas Tech, Boise State, Ohio State, TCU, Cincinnati, Georgia Tech, and Oklahoma State. Georgia is the lone new team to enter the poll this week, taking the place left by Ball State after they lost to Buffalo in the MAC title game.
